MyLizard is a service of Cold Weather Aquaponics LLC, based in Madison, Wisconsin. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and what we do and do not do with it.

Information you give us. Your name, email address, mailing address, and mobile phone number, when you contact us, place an order, schedule a consultation, or sign up for a service.

Information about devices we manage. If you use our device management service, we collect information about the devices enrolled in that service so that we can configure and support them.

Information collected automatically. Standard web server information such as pages visited and approximate location derived from IP address, used to keep the site working and secure.

Your mobile information will not be sold or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are excluded from all other information-sharing described in this policy, and that information is not shared with any third parties.

We use your mobile number only to communicate with you directly about your account, your service, your orders, and any support request you have raised with us. We collect it when you give it to us — in person, by phone, by email, or through a form on this site — and we tell you at that time that we may text you.

We may share your mobile number with service providers who help us operate our messaging — for example, the telecommunications carrier that delivers the message. Those providers may use it only to deliver the message on our behalf and for no other purpose.

To provide and support the services you have asked us for, to process and deliver orders, to respond to your questions, to send service and account notifications, and to meet our legal and tax obligations.

We do not sell personal information. We do not rent, trade, or otherwise make personal information available to anyone for their own marketing.

With service providers who work on our behalf — payment processing, shipping, email and text delivery, device management platforms, and hosting — and only to the extent they need it to do that work.

When the law requires it, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of our customers or of our business.

If our business is ever sold or merged, information may transfer as part of that transaction. Mobile numbers and text messaging consent are excluded from any such transfer for marketing purposes.

We keep information for as long as we need it to provide the service and to meet legal and accounting requirements, and then we delete it.

We protect information with industry-standard safeguards. No system is perfectly secure, and we will tell you promptly if a breach affects your information.

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@mylizard.net and we will respond within 30 days.

You can opt out of text messages by replying STOP, and out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in any such email. We will still send you messages necessary to deliver a service you have asked for.

Our services are sold to adults. Where a parent or guardian enrolls a child's device in our device management service, the account and all information associated with it belong to that adult, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes affecting how we use your information will be communicated to you directly.
